Complete games?

A few weeks ago, I watched a game on TV. An analyst mentioned a player’s performance, and he indicated the pitcher has thrown some complete games so far in his career.

Good August?

August just came to an end. The final month of the 2026 regular season is coming. This might be a very interesting month because a lot of teams are fighting hard for a spot in the postseason. We can see which players will make a huge impact to help their teams clinch a berth in the playoffs. Nonetheless, before that, several players had done a good job in August.

The 2026 MLB trade deadline was on August 3. Before the trade deadline, there were several trades that attracted a lot of fans’ attention. After those trades, do the players play well in the new team?

Good against the Red Sox?

The Boston Red Sox have played very well after the All-Star break. I’ve watched several games of the Red Sox and they look quite different from the first half of the 2026 season. But interestingly, in a game, I saw the broadcaster show a player’s great performance against the Red Sox. Over the last few days, that player did hit well against the Red Sox.

Come back stronger?

A couple of days ago, I listened to a podcast show. In the show, the host and an analyst both mentioned the Toronto Blue Jays, which won the AL pennant last year. During the offseason, they did several moves to enhance the team. The goal is simple, to win the World Series title.

Consistent rotation?

I listened to a podcast show a while ago. In the show, an analyst mentioned a team’s rotation and indicated that the team has done a great job to maintain its pitchers’ health. So the team’s rotation has been quite steady over the last few years.

It’s a sports card shop that I haven’t visited for quite a while. Well, as I remember that the last time I went there was some time before the covid-19 pandemic. I used to go there several times.

Good trades?
