Joy of collecting baseball cards

As a baseball fan, watching baseball games is definitely one of the great things in our life. Meanwhile, collecting baseball cards also provides a lot of fun when you get something you want or something special. For me, there are a lot of great things to love about collecting baseball cards.

1. An All-Star or someone from my favorite team Are you happy to have Mike Trout baseball cards? Getting a baseball card of a super star such as Mike Trout or Mookie Betts is going to let you have a great day. At the same time, you can also find players from your favorite team. For example, I have seen many friends who collect baseball cards of their favorite teams. They are willing to exchange cards to get any players from the teams they support.

2. Something rare
I usually feel excited when I open a pack and find some cards numbered or short print cards. I feel even more excited when I find a low-numbered card. When you find a numbered card, you know how many cards exist in the world and were printed. The lower, the rarer. For me, it’s pretty good to have a card numbered to 100 or even lower.

3. Relive good moments
You can find a lot of stories from baseball cards. You can find some greatest moments of legendary players. You can find some cards with throwback designs that bring you back to the past. You can find some cards printed to show unforgettable moments of your favorite team, for example, winning the World Series Champions.

4. Relic cards
Collecting baseball memorabilia could be really expensive. However, you can find a cheaper option. You can get a little piece of memorabilia. If you are lucky, you will be able to open a pack with a game-used or player-used memorabilia card. For example, I usually find All-Star relic cards from the topps update series.

5. Autograph
This is probably the most exciting part of collecting baseball cards. You don’t have to wait for a long time in the stadium to ask a player to sign. Simply open a pack and you have a chance to find an autograph card.

6. Rookie cards
For me, this is indeed my favorite. There are several reasons to collect rookie cards. Making into the big league is not easy. The first year in the majors is surely worth remembering. You can have top prospects who are more likely to be All-Stars. At the same time, you might have some unknown rookies at the beginning and a few years later they turn out to be superstars. And tell your friend, “I knew it.”

Collecting baseball cards is really fun, without a doubt. There are lots of good reasons to enjoy collecting. You can even make friends when you go to a shop or go to a card show. Sometimes you realize that you guys support the same team. However, it’s important that you have to understand your constraints such as budget or time. Don’t go super crazy.
