A couple of months ago, I listened to a podcast show and during the interview, a player indicated that he likes to hit at Globe Life Field because he sees baseballs clearly. After listening to the interview, I was wondering whether he did hit a lot of home runs at Globe Life Field.

Corey Seager signed a 10-year deal with the Rangers last December. In his first season with the Rangers, he slashed .245/.317/.455 with 33 home runs and 83 RBI. He was selected to the All-Star game. An OPS of .772 doesn’t look very impressive. However, at Globe Life Field, Seager did hit very well. His OPS was .900 in home games and he crushed 22 home runs. In away games, he only had 11 home runs.
Meanwhile, Adolis Garcia blasted 15 home runs at Globe Life Field in 2022. He slashed .255/.309/.479 at Globe Life Field this year. Moreover, Marcus Semien and Nathianel Lowe each smashed 10 home runs at Globe Life Field in 2022. However, Marcus Semien only batted .210/.272/.355 in home games in his first season with the Rangers. But, Nathaniel Lowe had a good 2022 season, hitting .302/.358/.492 with 27 home runs and 76 RBI. At Globe Life Field, he batted .280/.344/.434. Nonetheless, he did hit even better in away games. Lowe had a .919 OPS and crushed 17 home runs in away games this year.
Globe Life Field has been the home of the Rangers since 2020. Over these 3 seasons, who have crushed more home runs at this ballpark?
Adolis Garcia has played for the Rangers for 3 seasons. He didn’t hit any home runs in 2020. However, he blasted 19 home runs at Globe Life Field last year and had 15 home runs at this ballpark this season. Additionally, Seager blasted a home run at this ballpark in 2020 while he was playing for the Dodgers. This year, he just enjoyed hitting at this ballpark with 22 home runs. Moreover, at Globe Life Field, Joey Gallo blasted 5 home runs in 2020 and 15 home runs in 2021.
Adolis Garcia is now 29 years old and Corey Seager is now 28 years old. These two players won’t become free agents in the short-term. If they are not traded by the Rangers, they will call Globe Life Field home for a while. Seager blasted 22 home runs at Globe Life Field this season, it will be interesting to see whether he will hit more home runs at this ballpark in 2023. Is it possible to see him surpass Adolis Garcia as the home run leader at Globe Life Field? Furthermore, Seager blasted 7 home runs at Globe Life Field in the 2020 postseason. It will be worth watching when he will crush a home run in the postseason at this ballpark again. In the meantime, Nathaniel Lowe is 27 years old and he’s another important hitter in the Rangers lineup. Will he smash 10+ home runs at this ballpark again in 2023?
