A couple of weeks ago, a friend wanted to buy some books on Amazon Japan and asked me whether I would like to buy something. I checked on Amazon Japan and thought that it might be fun to buy some baseball cards. There were several choices available. After thinking for a few days, I decided to get a blaster box of 2021 Topps Bowman Platinum because I never bought it before and the price was affordable for me.
There are 7 packs and 1 extra pack in a blaster box, thus you can find 8 packs of cards. In total, there are 32 cards. Let’s see if I found something interesting.
Base cards (12): Giancarlo Stanton, Bo Bichette, Stephen Strasburg, Miguel Cabrera, Yu Darvish, Kris Bryant, Jose Abreu, Jose Altuve, Alex Bregman, Ketel Marte, Luis Robert, Cody Bellinger

Top Prospects (8): Burl Carraway, Bobby Miller, Pete Crow-Armstrong, Adinso Reyes, Alexander Vargas, Nick Loftin, Maximo Acosta, Bryce Jarvis

Well, I didn’t get any numbered cards or autograph cards. The result doesn’t look really good. However, as a Dodgers fan, it’s pretty good to get a Bobby Miller card. Bobby Miller was selected by the Dodgers in the first round of the 2020 draft. He made one start in the 2022 spring training and his outing was great. Miller tossed 3 innings against the Angels and struck out 2 batters. He only gave up one hit and didn’t allow a run.
Overall, it’s fun to open a blaster box of 2021 Topps Bowman Platinum. However, I probably will not open a blaster box of this product again. In a mega box of 2021 Topps Bowman Platinum, you can expect to get 2 autograph cards. Although it doesn’t guarantee that you will get autograph cards from top players such as Mike Trout or Aaron Judge, you can at least get two autograph cards in a mega box.
If a fan or a collector likes to have autograph cards, it will be ideal to choose a mega box because you can find two autograph cards. Nonetheless, if you just want to take a look at this product and getting some ice foil parallel cards is good enough for me, choosing a blaster box should be fine.
