2023 Topps Holiday Mega Box

Last November, the 2023 Topps Holiday was released. When this product is released, you know that the holiday season is coming.

 

For me, it’s not bad to buy this product because there’s a guaranteed hit in a mega box. I ordered a mega box of the 2023 Topps Holiday on Amazon and in late February, it arrived.

 

In total, there are 10 packs in a mega box and there are 10 cards in a pack. So, let’s see if I got something interesting.

As a result, there are some cool cards in this mega box. I used to buy a mega box of the 2021 Topps Holiday. Back then, I got a short print variation card. However, this time, I found 2 short print variation cards in a 2023 Topps Holiday mega box. Additionally, I found some cool rookie cards. For example, a Kodai Senga rookie card is pretty cool. He had a good start in his career in the majors, posting a 2.98 ERA and a 1.22 WHIP over 166.1 innings in 2023. Moreover, a Justin Steele card is an interesting one. Steele owned a 3.06 ERA and a 1.17 WHIP over 173.1 innings last season. Steele earned 16 wins in 2023. Unfortunately, injuries did bother them at the beginning of the 2024 season, but I hope to see them back to the mound soon.

There’s a guaranteed hit in a mega box. Normally, the hit is a relic card. However, this time, I found a Francisco Alvarez autograph card in this mega box. And this autograph card is numbered to 200. It’s so cool to add a Francisco Alvarez autograph card into my collection. Alvarez blasted 25 home runs in the Mets uniform last season. It will be worthwhile to see if he will smash more than 25 home runs in 2024.
