And it’s his first season with the Dodgers. He was one of the hottest hitters in the last 15 days. He played 14 games, slashing .508/.567/1.000 with 7 home runs and 26 RBI. Moreover, he had 10 steals. This season, he has 54 home runs, 130 RBI and 58 steals thus far.

Now, let’s shift our focus to the mound. Nick Martinez made 3 starts in the last 15 days, posting a 0.90 ERA and a 0.50 WHIP over 20 innings. He struck out 18 batters and gave up only 2 runs. Martinez signed a 2-year deal with the Reds last November. In his first season with the Reds, he owns a 3.10 ERA and a 1.03 WHIP over 142.1 innings.

October baseball is coming. Shohei Ohtani will very soon play the very first postseason game. With the good performance in the last 15 days, the Dodgers fans certainly want to see him do damage in October. The Yankees and the Guardians are back to the postseason and it’s certainly worth watching Aaron Judge and Jose Ramirez to see how well they will hit in October. In the meantime, can Corbin Burnes dominate in October to help the Orioles advance to the ALDS?
