2026 Topps Allen and Ginter

The 2026 Topps Allen and Ginter arrived in early October. A couple of days after this product was released, I went to a sports card shop. And there were some value boxes available. When I was ready to choose, my friend called me for something to discuss. So, I just randomly chose one value box.

I would like to see what’s inside. There are 8 packs in a value box and let’s see what I got.

Base cards: Joey Votto, Tyson Apostol, Xavier Edwards, Jeremy Pena, Stan Musial, Jung Hoo Lee, Kyle Tucker, Max Scherzer, John Oates, Roy Campanella, Juan Marichal, Will Clark, Bo Bichette, Logan Gilbert, Rob Cesternino, Alex Rodriguez, Steven Kwan, Matt Chapman, Brent Rooker, Johnny Bench, Aaron Nola, Kirk Gibson, Ozzie Smith, Luis Robert Jr., Aroldis Chapman, Mookie Betts

Rookie cards (5): Brady House, Travis Bazzana, JJ Wetherholt, Zach Maxwell, Carson Whisenhunt

50 ways to say hello (1): Salam

As I always like to find some cool rookie cards, I found a Travis Bazzana rookie card and a JJ Wetherholt rookie card. I used to see Bazzana play for team Australia in international tournaments. Moreover, JJ Wetherholt’s rookie season isn’t bad.

Furthermore, I found a Vladimir Guerrero Jr. filagree parallel. This card looks good and it’s not that easy to find a filagree parallel in a value box. However, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. didn’t have a great 2026 season.

In addition, a Shohei Ohtani insert is not always a bad thing. Meanwhile, I found an N43 insert. On the front, we can see it’s Kazuma Okamoto, who’s also from Japan. Okamoto finished his rookie season with 33 home runs, that’s a good start in his career.

Finally, there’s a chrome card, and it’s a mini one. It’s a Trea Turner mini chrome card. Well, it doesn’t seem to be very rare to find a mini chrome card. So, I guess it doesn’t generate much value.

Well, I normally buy some Allen and Ginter products every year. With this purchase, I think I will look for some hobby products, either a hobby box or hobby packs. Hopefully, I will find something interesting next time.
