It’s almost the end of June and each MLB team plays around 70 games so far. We’ve seen some stadiums with full capacity. Audience factors may influence the home field advantage. So far this season, which teams do enjoy playing at home?

Moreover, Coors Field is known as the most hitter friendly ballpark and the performance of the Rockies at home doesn’t surprise us. The Rockies have scored 239 runs and collected 227 RBI at home, both are the most among the 30 teams at home. In addition, the Rockies have a batting average of .283 at Coors Field. The Toronto Blue Jays are still unable to play at Rogers Centre, Toronto. By far, they have played home games in Dunedin and Buffalo. The Mets haven't hit well at home so far. However, their pitching staff have done a tremendous job with an ERA of 2.05 at Citi Field. Additionally, they post a 0.95 WHIP and opponents bat just .182. Hitting against the Mets pitchers might be really difficult at Citi Field. The Padres added several pitchers such as Yu Darvish, Blake Snell and Joe Musgrove to enhance pitching depth. Well, the Padres pitchers post a 2.65 ERA and a 1.04 WHIP at Petco Park, hence the result looks pretty good so far. The Marlins won 16 games at home, while losing 14. However, their pitching staff have been quite solid at LoanDepot Park with a 2.78 ERA and a 1.04 WHIP. Moreover, the Rays and the White Sox each have an under 3 ERA at home.

Home field advantage is widely known in sports. In MLB, 22 teams each have a winning record at home so far and this tells us that MLB teams are supposed to be beneficial while playing at home. The Mets are currently playing very well at Citi Field and their pitchers are performing extremely well. Can they sustain their performance in the rest of the season?
