Open a box of 2020 Topps Gallery

Last month, I went to meet an old friend that we haven’t met for around two years. We had a lot to chat and, of course, we enjoyed good food and beers. We talked about baseball, soccer and sports. It was a fun night and we recall many funny stories. When I went back to the hotel, I saw a sports card shop, which is nearby the hotel. Well, I came in and tried to see whether there was something cool. I found that 2020 Topps Gallery was on sale. So I decided to get one box.

I bought a few packs of 2020 Topps Gallery and I know what this product is. However, before opening a box, the card shop staff reminded me that autograph cards in the box are sticker autos. It’s sure that she knows some collectors don’t like sticker autos. For me, sticker autos are ok. Of course, I prefer on-card autographs.

Here’s what I got,

Notables on base cards: Shohei Ohtani, Juan Soto, Andrew McCutchen, Hyun-Jin Ryu, Paul Goldschmidt, Shane Bieber, Francisco Lindor, Corey Kluber, Chris Sale, Miguel Cabrera, Matt Chapman, Noah Syndergaard, Max Muncy, Byron Buxton, Whit Merrifield, Aaron Judge, Anthony Rizzo, Kris Bryant, Blake Snell, Marcus Stroman, Buster Posey, Matt Kemp, Trevor Bauer, Ozzie Albies, Walker Buehler, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Jacob deGrom, J.D. Martinez, Ronald Acuna Jr.

Featured Artists card (1): Maz Adams, Angel Aviles, Dan Bergren, Carlos Cabaleiro

To be honest, for me, this box is not a perfect one. I was thinking of getting a Luis Robert rookie card, unfortunately, I couldn’t find one in this box. Two sticker autograph cards are Jaylin Davis and Eric Thames. Jaylin Davis only played 21 games in the majors and so far in this season, he hasn’t played yet. Eric Thames signed a contract with the Yomiuri Giants, but he’s injured. However, there are some cards worth mentioning. Some rookie cards such as Kyle Lewis, Dustin May and Bo Bichette are good. I know that Dustin May will not be back on the mound for a while, but I still believe that he’s going to be a dominant pitcher. That’s all. Enjoy collecting baseball cards.
