2022 Topps Archives Blaster round 2

Last year, I bought a 2022 Topps Archives blaster box. I didn’t get any hits or any top rookie cards that I was looking for in that blaster box. This year, I passed by a card shop and found that there were some blaster boxes of the 2022 Topps Archives available.

After thinking for a while, I decided to get a blaster box. The card shop owner told me that he could give me a huge discount if I bought 3 blaster boxes of the 2022 Topps Archives. But, in the end, I chose to buy only 1 blaster box.

So, let's see what I got this time.

Base cards: Zack Wheeler, Dave Winfield, Joe Mauer, Dale Murphy, Eloy Jimenez, Andrew Vaughn, Adam Wainwright, Max Muncy, Teoscar Hernandez, German Marquez, Patrick Corbin, Ralph Kiner, Freddie Freeman, Hyun-Jin Ryu, Fernando Tatis Jr., Bob Feller, Yogi Berra, Gerrit Cole, Robbie Ray, Honus Wagner, Brandon Lowe, Nelson Cruz, Stan Musial, Alex Rodriguez, Eddie Murray, Javier Baez, Dylan Carlson, Cody Bellinger, Adam Frazier, Patrick Wisdom, Ron Santo, Aaron Judge, Luis Garcia, Warren Spahn, Ke’Bryan Hayes, Max Kepler, Willie Mays, Ryan Mountcastle, Yu Darvish, Dansby Swanson

Rookie cards (12): Kyle Bradish, CJ Abrams, Reid Detmers, Shane Baz, Roansy Contreras, Bryson Stott, Lucius Fox, Jake Meyers, Jackson Kowar, Jake McCarthy, Joe Ryan, Steven Kwan

1995 Topps Scoop (1): Chris Taylor

1961 Topps MVP (1): Corbin Burnes

1992 Topps Major League Debut (1): Aaron Judge

1988 Big League Foil (3): Chipper Jones, Car Ripken Jr., Roger Clemens

Autograph (1): Dustin Pedroia (1992 Topps MLB Debut Autograph)

While opening this blaster box, I was really tired and just wanted to quickly open all the packs. However, after opening the 4th or the 5th pack, I found a card that looked quite different.

Boom!

WOW!

It’s an autograph card. It’s a Dustin Pedroia on-card autograph card. I didn’t expect to see an autograph card in this blaster box. Moreover, I normally get fan favorite autograph cards from the Topps Archives. But, this time, it’s a different autograph card. After seeing this autograph card, my fatigue was just gone. And, I just kept looking at this card. Oh man, it’s a Dustin Pedroia autograph card. The guy won the 2008 AL MVP award.

When I checked the approximate odds per pack of finding, this is what is shown on the blaster box,

It’s not easy to find an autograph card in a blaster box of the 2022 Topps Archives. Nonetheless, very luckily, I found a Dustin Pedroia autograph card, which is just so unbelievable. Well, in this blaster box, I still didn’t find some top rookie cards that I was looking for. Nevertheless, there’s nothing to complain about. I got an autograph card and a former MVP signed on the card.
