16 packs of 2022 Topps Series 2

A few weeks ago, I was exploring an online sports card shop and there was a campaign to celebrate a branch store’s third anniversary. I found a great deal, which is a lucky bag that contains 8 hobby packs of the 2022 Topps Series 2 with a special bag. In a special bag, there’s an autograph card or a relic card.

Normally, I don’t buy too many hobby packs of Topps Series 2 because there’s only one hit in a hobby box. However, this time, the deal looks just awesome. I purchased two lucky bags. Hence, there are 16 hobby packs of 2022 Topps Series 2.

Now, let’s see whether I found something interesting.

Autographs (1): TJ Friedl (1987 Topps Baseball Autographs) Well, there’s a hit in each 2022 Topps Series 2 hobby box and there are 24 packs in a hobby box. And, I was just thinking that I might get a hit if all these hobby packs are from the same hobby box. And, yes, I got a hit, which is a TJ Friedl autograph card. Additionally, a Wade Boggs short print card is also pretty good. For me, the result of getting these hobby packs was great. I like to collect rookie cards and an Oneil Cruz generation now insert card was ok. Of course, an Oneil Cruz base rookie card would be better. Moreover, I don’t think it’s easy to find an autograph card in a hobby pack. So, I went to check the approximate odds per pack of finding and this is what is shown on a pack, 1987 Topps Baseball Autographs: Base 1:182
It was pretty fun to get these hobby packs and very luckily, I got an autograph card. Well, it’s not a household name, but an on-card autograph card is really not that bad.
