A few days ago, I watched a game with a great friend who really likes baseball. It was an exciting game. The home team was behind, but rallied from the 7th inning. By scoring several runs, the home team eventually won the game. After watching the game, I was just thinking about a question. Which teams do score more runs in the 7th inning or later?
To understand a little bit more, I went to check on the MLB website.
The New York Yankees are currently leading in the AL East. By far this season, they have already scored 613 runs. Among those 613 runs, 216 runs were scored from the 7th inning or later. In the meantime, the Braves scored 193 runs from the 7th inning or later. In the late innings, the Braves already blasted 51 home runs, tying the most in the NL. The Braves are now 2nd in the NL East.
