In early December 2025, the 2025 Topps Allen and Ginter was released. I normally buy this product. Sometimes, I buy hobby packs. Someitmes, I tried a blaster box as well.

For me, it’s an interesting brand and you can find something fun or something unexpected. For example, you can see some celebrity cards. A few days after this product was released, I went to a sports card shop and found some blaster boxes available. After chatting with the card shop owner, I decided to buy a blaster box of this product.

I’m trying to see if I could find something interesting this time.

Base cards: Pete Crow-Armstrong, Hank Aaron, Willie Mays, Stan Musial, Julio Rodriguez, Jackson Chourio, Gunnar Henderson, Oneil Cruz, Shohei Ohtani, Andrew McCutchen, Yu Darvish, Salvador Perez, Larry David, Andruw Jones, Gary Sheffield, Andrew Benintendi, Emma Roberts, Jamie Chung

For me, it’s quite fun to open some packs of the 2025 Topps Allen and Ginter. I found a Nick Kurtz rookie card in this blaster box and it’s a good card. Moreover, there are 2 chrome cards in the box. And one of the chrome cards is a refractor card. That’s not bad.
In addition, mini cards are an important element of this brand. Well, I don’t know if people like mini cards. It’s fun to find them, however, it’s not so easy to store those mini cards. This time, I found a Marcelo Mayer mini card. It’s a rookie card with A&G back. He just made his MLB debut this season but he missed playing time because of undergoing a surgery. Let’s keep watching if he’s ready to contribute to the Red Sox lineup in spring training. Moreover, I found a Pete Alonso gold border mini card. The card isn’t numbered. On the front, it clearly shows that Alonso is in the Mets uniform. Nonetheless, Pete Alonso decided to ink a deal with the Orioles. In the short-term, we probably won’t see a card that Alonso is in the Mets uniform.
Finally, there’s a hit. I couldn’t believe that there’s a hit. When I saw a Dave Winfield relic card, I was so surprised. This year, it’s even harder to find a hit in the hobby box. In 2024, you can find 3 hits (Autographs, Memorabilia Cards, Rip Cards or Original Allen & Ginter Cards) in a hobby box. But in 2025, you can only find 2. I didn’t expect to find a hit in a blaster box. Nonetheless, there’s one. So, pretty good result this time.
