The 2025 Topps Archives arrived in mid-December 2025. This brand is one of my favorite series. Every year, I buy some hobby packs of this brand or a value box product. For me, I like to look back at different designs from different years. At the same time, it’s an interesting brand to collect baseball cards that include modern stars, rookies and baseball legends.

Just a couple of days after this product was released, I went to a sports card shop. Some people were there, ripping hobby packs of the 2025 Topps Archives. I saw some cool autos there. For me, this time, I decided to get a blaster box to see what I can get.

I chose a value box of the 2025 Topps Archives from that store and let’s see what I got.

Base cards: Adley Rutschman, Gleyber Torres, Jasson Dominguez, Eury Perez, Salvador Perez, Kyle Tucker, Jazz Chisholm Jr., Jack Flaherty, Giancarlo Stanton, David Ortiz, Reggie Jackson, Ozzie Albies, Jackie Robinson, Ketel Marte, Francisco Lindor, Nolan Schanuel, Kyle Manzardo, Kris Bryant, Jung Hoo Lee, Zack Wheeler, Dansby Swanson, Adrian Beltre, Teoscar Hernandez, Albert Pujols, Will Smith, Orel Hershiser, Alec Bohm, Riley Greene, Jeremy Pena, Mickey Mantle, Austin Riley, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Cal Raleigh, Brandon Nimmo

Rookie cards: Chase Petty, Caden Dana, David Festa, Rhett Lowder, Angel Martinez, Luke Keaschall, Leo Jimenez, Luisangel Acuna, Trey Sweeney, Ben Rice, Spencer Schwellenbach, Zach Dezenzo, Justyn-Henry Malloy, Dillon Dingler

Black Foilbaord (4): Tarik Skubal, Framber Valdez, MJ Melendez, Jeremy Pena
1964 Topps Stand-up (1): Jace Jung

2007 Topps All-Stars (1): Mookie Betts
1987 Boardwalk and Baseball (1): Brooks Lee

Red Hot Foilboard (1): Javier Sanoja (/50)
In a blaster box, you can find 4 black foilboard cards. I got 4 and there weren’t any swings and misses. Moreover, I found a 1964 stand-up card. This card looks pretty cool. I saw something similar in basketball cards. But I don’t remember that I saw this design in baseball cards before. Well, the auto is a printed one. It’s not a real auto. So, don’t overreact.
In addition, I found an insert card, which is a 2007 Topps All-Star card and the front is a photo of Mookie Betts. Mookie Betts is one of my favorite players, so this card is a good one. Furthermore, there’s a numbered card. It’s a Javier Sanoja red hot foilboard card and numbered to 50. As I checked the odds, it’s pretty hard to find either in a hobby box or a value box. Hence, it seems quite rare. Sanoja won the 2025 NL Gold Glove award and I'll keep watching if he will play well in 2026.
So, this value box is not bad. I found a low-numbered card and some cool inserts. I might still buy some hobby packs of this product to see whether I can find some autograph cards or cool rookie cards.
