The 2026 Topps Heritage arrived in mid-March. Just 1 or 2 days after this product was released, I went to a sporting goods store to see if there were some products available. I saw one blaster box and one mega box. Well, I decided to buy a mega box because I didn’t buy a mega box of this product before.

In total, there are 17 packs in a mega box and let’s see what I got.

Notable on base cards: Edwin Diaz, Shohei Ohtani, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Agustin Ramirez, Garrett Crochet, Eugenio Suarez, Andrew Abbott, Jose Ramirez, Ronald Acuna Jr., Mason Miller, Elly De La Cruz, Bryan Woo, Cristopher Sanchez, Brandon Nimmo, Yu Darvish, Max Fried, Francisco Lindor, Kyle Tucker, Shane Bieber, Hyeseong Kim, Andrew McCutchen, Jackson Chourio, Gunnar Henderson, Corey Seager, Willy Adames, Christian Yelich, Aroldis Chapman, Junior Caminero

Rookie cards: Roman Anthony, Jac Caglianone, Andre Granillo, Harry Ford, Luis Morales, Owen Caissie, Brandon Sproat, Cole Young, Nolan McLean, Carson Williams, Samuel Basallo, Kyle Teel, Carter Jensen, Trey Yesavage, Christian Moore, Bryce Eldridge, Robinson Pina, Heriberto Hernandez

Base short prints (4): Simeon Woods Richardson, Adam Frazier, MacKenzie Gore, Rookie shortstops (Colson Montgomery/ Alex Freeland/ Maximo Acosta/ Denzer Guzman)

Chrome Silver Sparkle (4): Dillon Dingler, Bradgley Rodriguez (RC), Carlos Correa, Denzel Clarke

Chrome (4): Patrick Bailey, Jac Caglianone (RC), Justin Martinez, Jaden Hill (RC/refractor)

Raw Power (1): Shohei Ohtani
For me, I found some cool rookie cards. In particular, I found a Roman Anthony rookie card and a Jac Caglianone rookie card. They each made it into the big leagues last June. And a Samuel Basallo rookie card is a good one as well. Moreover, a Nolan McLean rookie card and a Trey Yesavage rookie card are both good. In particular, Yesavage’s performance was impressive last postseason.
In addition, short-printed cards have been different this year. In the previous set, you can easily recognize the base short-printed cards by checking the card number. This year, you have to check carefully because short prints are scattered throughout the set. I spent some time identifying which cards are short printed.
Finally, I found a Jac Caglianone chrome card and a Shohei Ohtani insert. Both cards look good to me. I’m glad to add them into my collection.
Overall, this mega box isn’t a bad one. I found several cards of the Dodgers players such as Yamamoto and Ohtani. Furthermore, there are actually several good rookie cards in the mega box. In particular, I certainly like to collect Roman Anthony rookie cards and Jac Caglianone rookie cards. I will keep watching their performances in the 2026 season. And there are exclusive red bordered cards and silver sparkle cards in a mega box. It’s not bad to see these cards.
