2025 Topps Chrome Update Blaster box

Around 4 or 5 weeks ago, I was exploring on Amazon because I had some balance on my gift card. After checking for a few minutes, I decided to order a value box of the 2025 Topps Chrome Update because a vendor sold it at a price that looked reasonable for me. I never bought a value box of this product before. So, I decided to have a try and see if I could find something interesting.

It didn’t take too much time to arrive. In total, there are 28 cards in the box. And let’s see what I got.

Base cards: Clay Holmes, Pete Crow-Armstrong, Max Kepler

Rookie cards: Michael McGreevy, Mick Abel, Luisangel Acuna, Chase Meidroth, Willie MacIver, Liam Hicks, Moises Ballesteros, James Wood, Tim Tawa, Gunnar Hoglund, Luke Keaschall, John Rave, Adael Amador, Robert Hassell III, Kumar Rocker, Alejandro Osuna, Chase Dollander, Kristian Campbell

Sepia (4): Blaine Crim (RC), Eugenio Suarez, Aroldis Chapman, Connor Thomas (RC)

Refractor (1): Trent Grisham

Raywave (1): Colton Gordon (RC)

1990 Topps Chrome (1): Juan Soto

I certainly understand that it’s extremely difficult to find a hit in a blaster box. So, I don’t expect to see a hit in a blaster box. However, a good thing about this blaster box is that there are just a lot of rookie cards. It seems that Topps Chrome update has become a product to find rookie cards. For me, this is something cool because I would like to find some cool rookie cards.

In addition, there are sepia parallels in a blaster box. I never saw a sepia parallel card from this series. I’m glad to add some sepia parallel cards into my collection.

However, there’s something weird. As I checked on a sports card website, it showed that you can find 2 inserts in a blaster box. Well, I only got one this time. I don’t know if that’s normal.

Overall, a value box of the 2025 Topps Chrome update is a box just for fun. You shouldn’t expect to find a hit since it’s quite hard to find one. Nonetheless, if you want to find rookie cards, this might be the right choice. I won’t buy another blaster box of the 2025 Topps Chrome Update. Nonetheless, next year, well, I guess the 2026 Topps Chrome Update will be released next year. I might still buy some hobby packs or jumbo packs to look for some cool rookie cards.
